Villa Mascagni, Art Nouveau villa of the early 1900s, was the old home of esteemed alabaster merchants. The careful restoration work has combined the current living needs with a deep respect for the historical memory, in fact, the materials of the past have been kept intact: the stone stairs, the wrought iron railings and accessories, the frescoes and the painted vaults. Antique and stylish furniture complete the elegance of the rooms.
The Villa has parking on the property and is surrounded by a large garden with Mediterranean plants with numerous relaxation spots and peaceful atmospheres, to enrich your well-being during your villa holidays in Villa Mascagni, Toscany.
There are 6 guest houses in the villa, 1 studio (2 persons) and 5 two-room apartments (4 persons) all equipped with the comforts of a modern home: kitchen with electric hobs, fridge, private bathroom with shower, heating, satellite TV and free wi-fi .

Villa Mascagni offers everything for an exclusive and unforgettable holiday in Tuscany!
The villa is located a few steps from the historic center of Volterra and offers a beautiful view of the majestic Medici fortress and the valley of Cecina. San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and the coast are also easily accessible. If you prefer a trip on a mountain bike, walks or on horseback to the nature reserve of Montenero, that is also possible. Or would you rather go to one of the wineries for a wine tasting or visit the Etruscan museum in Volterra.
Volterra celebrates 3000 years of history and cherishes an artistic and architectural heritage that can be admired and appreciated simply by strolling through the narrow streets of the historic center. Volterra has always been and still is a close-knit community, where as children we learned to walk by chasing the pigeons that paraded on the stone pavement of the main square, the Piazza dei Priori. We played hide and seek and hid along the medieval walls and in the Etruscan tombs, went to school in 18th century buildings and prayed in 13th century churches. Today our children play treasure hunt among the paintings of Rosso Fiorentino and Ghirlandaio.
Enjoy one of the most beautiful areas in the world, Tuscany, starting from this special holiday home.
