What you shouldn't miss on a trip to Tuscany is a visit to the extraordinary mountain village of San Gimignano.

San Gimignano is known for the fact that its skyline has hardly changed since the Middle Ages. The fourteen medieval towers have given the village the nickname “Manhattan of the Middle Ages”.
